CABLE JOINTING

New services, mains extensions, disconnections / reconnections, same day transfers, single & 3 phase metered, energisations, cable identification, HV jointing & terminations, and link box installs

ICP SERVICES

Fully NERS accredited to perform low voltage (LV) electricity connection works including Linking + Fusing and Signal Injection on behalf of clients in conjunction with DNO-UKPN (LPN-EPN-SPN).

SITE PREPARATION

Fully certified and self-equipped site preparation service, including pavement excavations, to provide good all-round access to cables and accessories to meet all applicable safety protocols and standards.

SITE REINSTATEMENT

Full site reinstatement service after any trenching or excavation works. This includes backfilling, proper compaction and settlement to sufficient depth, for organic, concrete and paved surfaces.

AG Cable Jointing was established in 2015 by its director Andy Gerred, who has over 36 years experienced in the electricity industry.

Andy has worked for some of the biggest electrical organisations in the UK and Australia, and his deep experience and entrepreneurial approach lead him to start his own company providing full spectrum cable jointing and ICP services to UKPN and the construction & road maintenance sectors.

A passion for reliability and completing work to the highest standard where the safety of his team and the public are paramount, lead the company to experience significant growth as it approaches a decade in service. The team at AG Cable Jointing now offer full turnkey electrical cabling solutions from excavating, cable laying, cable jointing, and reinstatement to designing, building, and managing electrical infrastructure, as a NERS accredited ICP.

AG Cable Jointing operates across South East England including London and surrounding counties.

EV Charging Systems

AG Cable Jointing recently hooked up this EV Charging System in Folkestone, Kent. 4 Type 2 7 kW AC charging points are now helping keep EV drivers on the move.

ICP Services

The team have carried out over 100 signal injections in Greater London to positively identify Low Voltage cables for leading ICPs.

AG Cable Jointing have teams available for emergency callouts 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. In an emergency, the team can work with live cable jointing to restore power as soon as possible.
